THE MARIGOLD BAR, THEATER & CABARET

Hey Everybody:  We're gonna have our own Spring Break at The Marigold Theater, Bar and Cabaret on Sunday, February 25, with Connecticut's elite jazz quintet Hall Monitors.  Featuring composer and master pianist Jen Allen on Piano, the band plays their own original compositions, as well as their unique treatments of some really rare jazz classics.  Well traveled Sax and Flute player Matt Parker is joined by Nathan Edwards on Saxes, Ben Bilello on Drums, and our good friend--Steve Bulmer on big big time Bass.
Juke Joint Jazz will open with the usual suspects of Ken Forfia on Piano; David Kisala on Saxes; Ed Brainerd on Trumpet and Flugelhorn; George Kaye on Bass; Clark Seibold on Drums; and Michael Levine on Guitar.  We'll be pulling out some tunes from the vault that we haven't played in a while.

So if you love horns and pianos, the Marigold is what's happening on February 25.  And just like a real Spring Break, all the drinks you can afford and free bathing suits with your 50th drink!  Hope you can swing it with us.
