I hired Juke Joint Jazz for my daughter's wedding. I wanted a live band that played classic jazz. I stumbled upon their band after perusing the internet and listening to many bands' music. That was my lucky day! Their performance is personal and lively. Michael, the leader of the band, is extremely accommodating and would send a list of songs he suggests and also is very open to requests from the bride and groom. He makes you feel as if he has known you for years! That makes it very comfortable for the clients to do business with him. I highly recommend this band not only for weddings, as I can imagine they are a wonderful touch to any happy occasion. Afi D, Waterford, CT --10/21/18

Juke Joint was  very responsive to all of my specific requests and transitioned well from their 3 hour performance to our DJ.  Michael answered almost immediately all my correspondence emails/calls over the year I worked with them.   The price was extremely reasonable and Michael was flexible with last minute changes in my schedule.  He was easy going and fun to work with.  They sounded incredible for our first dance "What a Wonderful World" and listening to them play the song will definitely be one of my favorite memories from our big day!  Julia M--Woodstock, VT--7/1/17

Many thanks to Juke Joint Jazz for their wonderful performance at our wedding! We could not have made a better choice for a jazz band to make our big day even more special! Juke Joint Jazz came up with the perfect list of songs and they played them with such class and sophistication that all our guests, ages 20s to 80s, enjoyed them greatly. Even now, a few months after the wedding, when we get together with friends/family, everyone raves about the band at our wedding! If you are considering Juke Joint Jazz for your event, choose them without hesitation - they will put on a splendid performance that you as well as your guests will remember fondly :)  Diana S—Boston, MA—8/25/13

Juke Joint Jazz played during the cocktail hour at our daughter's wedding reception. We were the recipients of a great performance. They are a very professional group. Michael was very attentive to detail and worked to provide us a custom experience. It all went by too quickly. Thank you!

Great group, everyone in the party loved the music. Wedding went off without a hitch. These guys drove to southern CT all the way from central MA.

Thank you- Alan H—New Canaan, CT—11/22/14

We hired Juke Joint Jazz for my husbands 60th birthday party. As we had to change the date and venue form the original agreement Michael happily accommodated us which alleviated much stress. The band was on time, professional in appearance, and they set up with no need of assistance for me or the venue. They played beautifully, perfect sound, with a list of music that everyone enjoyed and we danced the night away!! We had several couples who ballroom danced some not as experienced, there was a bit of music for everyone!! Juke Joint Jazz will definitely play again at our summer party, they are an all round great bunch of talented people!! All the best- Tannus P—Concord, MA—11/15/14

JJJ were the PERFECT choice for our cocktail party. They were extremely professional all the way through. Michael was tremendously diligent in making sure he had all our details and ensured he followed our instructions the whole way. One of our wedding guests was Jaimoe (John Johanson) the longtime drummer for the legendary Allman Brothers Band. He is married to my mother's best friend and has been a family friend for over 20 years. A jazz musician himself, Jaimoe was seated in front of JJJ and was applauding and raving about their set all night. We couldn't have been happier with our choice & HIGHLY recommend JJJ for any function. Thank you! - Joshua B—Farmington, CT—5/23/14

Juke Joint Jazz had our party dancing! They were on time. Their requirements were simple and the music was perfect for our simple Sunday birthday party celebration. They would be perfect for an elegant evening affair- Suzi S—Greenwich, CT—2/9/14
